I hopped the Red Line southbound towards 95th and transferred at Garfield over to the #55 towards Museum Campus to get myself to the heart of Hyde Park and meet up with Squat The Condos, four guys who play loud kinda punk music and have a great apartment covered in seedy/ironic wall-hangings and buzzing with folks wandering in and out of the space.

If you haven’t heard, By Measure is a great photo blog of a similar mindset to CP//LRS, which captures artists and musicians working in their own spaces. Last week, Couch Potatoes filmmaker Jack Mayer was the featured artist. Just look how hard he’s working to bring you fresh videos of fresh underground bands every week! Be sure to check back to our page often for updates on the cool stuff that the folks at By Measure are doing and, of course, head on over to their site to check it out for yourselves!
