Jack Lawrence Mayer (executive director) is filmmaker/video artist living in Chicago. He likes to film folks singing, dancing, playing instruments and filling moments between speech and thought. He was a founding member of the web comedy group Pushing23 and wrote and directed the 2010 feature film A Girl Named Clyde. His most recent project was the online-only short film, Waltz Across. He still thinks of the Southland as home.
Dio Traverso (producing assistant, calendar man)
“No, not like Ronnie James Dio”
A proud Chicagoan, Dio was raised on a healthy diet of Nirvana, Iggy Pop, and REM by two post-punk parents. When he’s not lending a hand to lead-spud Jack Mayer on his latest hair-brained scheme, Dio wastes his time writing, stalking the Mojave Wasteland, and playing back-up bass for a doom metal outfit, Sorcerer Supreme. You can also find him under that one bridge near your place of business.
