As I walked to the shoot with Sima Cunningham, I was suddenly approached by four rather large men wielding pick-axes. One uttered a blood-curling yalp that sent me screaming down the street in a panic. Luckily, I escaped the urban miners by ducking down an alleyway and climbing a nearby fire escape. Just as I had given up hope on making it to the shoot, I realized that I had ended up on Sima’s back porch…
